From Seed to Harvest: Maximizing God's Blessings
The Bible speaks about seed and says that God is the one who supplies seed. Many people eat the seed because they misunderstand what seed is. In every harvest, there are two things: God supplies seed and bread. But if you eat the seed, you will not have anything to plant. The Bible carries the story of a widow in a season of drought and how she had oil and flour for one last meal. So, even though that meal appeared as bread, it was a seed. That single meal was a seed, and if released, she would have a miracle of provision in a season of drought.
A seed is not limited to offerings. A seed can be what God gives you to invest in any area of your life, and if you misuse that seed and use it as bread, you may never be able to build that business God intended you to birth from that seed. What is that thing that God has supplied as seed in your business, home, or ministry?
There is a term used in business called seed capital, which refers to the type of financing, money, or resources used in the formation of a company. If the businessman or woman eats the seed capital, he or she can never be able to start up. So, whenever God blesses you, He gives you seed to plant and bread to eat. But many people don't have the discipline to plant the seed. The key to giving or investing is that you put into the ground what you're expecting to receive back. Someone once said, "Give in the direction you desire your life to go."
This month of October shall be a Month of Harvest, but you cannot harvest if there is no seed in your ground. The widow gave her last meal, but through that single seed, she gained access to greater provision. Many have eaten seed because they were not told that every harvest has seed and bread, and your next harvest is in separating the seed from the bread. Do you desire a great harvest? Increase the seed in your ground . This month, if you want to have access to a harvest, let your seed speak. God bless you.
