Honors Reward: Keys To Maximize Gods blessing

The Bible tells us that Jesus could not perform mighty works in His hometown (Mark 6:5). Despite His desire to heal and bless, He faced restrictions that prevented Him from doing many miracles. The question is: why did the people in His hometown fail to receive from the Lord?

The answer lies in honor. The people did not honor Jesus, and this lack of honor hindered their ability to receive His blessings (Mark 6:4). Honor is essential because a person can carry a miracle, breakthrough, or word for you, but without honor, it is difficult for them to assist you in receiving what God wants to do in your life.

Consider how God might want to release favor through civil authorities, such as politicians, governors, or local leaders (Romans 13:1-2). If you do not honor these authorities, even though God wants to prosper you, your posture can prevent the full release of His blessings. Romans tells us that civil authorities are ministers of God (Romans 13:4). By observing the laws and showing respect to those in authority, you provoke the favor that the nation holds for you (Romans 13:5).

The same principle applies to spiritual leaders. The things God has given to an apostle or other leaders are accessible through honor (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13). Many people receive only partial rewards from the nations or churches they are part of because they fail to honor those placed above them. Honor is the key to unlocking the full blessing of God in your life (Proverbs 3:9-10).

There is a difference between partial rewards and full rewards . Jesus could not perform many miracles in His hometown because there was no honor (Mark 6:5-6). Partial rewards occur when some form of honor is given, but not in its fullness. This is similar to receiving only partial rewards from a nation or church due to lack of complete honor.

It’s important to recognize that some nations and systems are flawed. Despite this, honoring those in authority can lead to prosperity (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Nations where leaders are honored often prosper, while dishonoring leaders can lead to failure and poverty. The same applies to the church: dishonoring spiritual leaders can result in its downfall (Hebrews 13:17).

Honor should extend beyond leaders to everyone around you. Respect, value, and hold others in high regard (Philippians 2:3). Avoid quick judgments and always show respect. Honor your spouse, peers, and community members. Acknowledging the importance of others and practicing honor can lead to divine rewards (Ephesians 5:22-33).

I recall a testimony of a dear woman of God who was married to a Prophet but was able to receive significant blessings due to her posture of honoring the prophet in her husband (Luke 6:38). This illustrates that standing in a posture of honor brings about divine rewards.

Are you practicing honor in your life? Honor is more than a polite gesture; it is a spiritual principle that can greatly impact your life. By embracing honor, you unlock the fullness of God's blessings and favor.

Honor everyone, including those in authority and those around you. This practice will open doors to greater divine rewards and prosperity (1 Peter 2:17).

God bless you as you walk in honor and experience the fullness of His blessings.
