WHO IS A PROPHET?
The Gift Is Given, But the Capacity Must Be Developed
"Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy" (1 Corinthians 14:1). These words from the Apostle Paul reveal a remarkable truth: every believer is encouraged to desire the prophetic. Yet there is an important distinction that many overlook. There is a difference between having the potential to be prophetic and possessing the Capacity to function effectively in the prophetic. Potential is given by God, but capacity is developed through revelation, instruction, and spiritual maturity.
Throughout Scripture, God has always chosen men and women to become His voice in the earth. The prophet is more than someone who predicts future events; a prophet is one whom God appoints as His mouthpiece, entrusted to communicate His heart, His counsel, and His purposes. However, the prophetic ministry is far deeper than many have been taught.
In Scripture we discover two major prophetic expressions. The first is the Nabi prophet, often described as the one who speaks forth or proclaims the Word of the Lord. The Nabi is God's mouthpiece, declaring what Heaven has revealed. The second is the Roeh (Seer) prophet, whose ministry is characterized by spiritual perception. Yet many misunderstand what it truly means to "see."
Seeing in the Spirit is not limited to receiving visions with one's natural eyes. Just as the human body possesses five natural senses, the spirit also perceives through spiritual senses. A seer may perceive through spiritual sight, spiritual hearing, spiritual touch, spiritual ( Smell ) discernment, or other forms of divine perception. Likewise, hearing the voice of God is not merely the physical act of listening. Scripture reminds us, "Hearing they hear not" (Matthew 13:13), revealing that it is entirely possible to hear words naturally while missing what the Spirit is communicating.
The prophetic, therefore, is not simply about extraordinary experiences. It is about learning how the Holy Spirit communicates and developing the ability to recognize His voice accurately.
This is why teaching is indispensable.
Many believers carry genuine prophetic grace but never fully step into it because no one has taught them how to understand or steward what God has placed within them. Gifts without understanding often remain dormant. Grace without instruction frequently produces frustration instead of fruitfulness.
My own journey illustrates this reality.
I was raised in a religious family, and although the prophetic potential was present from an early age, I did not understand what God had placed within me. Even after giving my life to Christ, I attended a conventional church where many dimensions of the prophetic were never explained. It was only through years of studying Scripture , Prophetic books , sitting under mentors, receiving sound teaching on the seer realms , and allowing the Holy Spirit to instruct me that the prophetic gift began to mature. What had once been confusing became clear. What had once been occasional became consistent. Knowledge awakened what had been hidden.
The Bible declares that an heir, "though he is lord of all, differs nothing from a servant... until the time appointed by the father" (Galatians 4:1–2). In the same way, many believers possess prophetic inheritance but remain spiritually immature because they have never been equipped to grow into it. Training unlocks capacity. Mentorship cultivates accuracy. Understanding brings confidence.
This is why the Lord has impressed upon my heart to conduct the Seers Boot Camp.
These sessions are not merely a series of teachings; they are designed as an awakening. During these classes we will explore the foundations of prophetic ministry, examine the differences between the Nabi and the Seer, and discover how God speaks through the various spiritual senses. We will also examine prophetic families, understand how spiritual lineage influences prophetic expression, address common misconceptions about prophetic ministry, and learn practical principles for seeing more clearly in the Spirit.
Above all, these teachings are intended to bring believers into greater intimacy with God. The prophetic is not about becoming spectacular before people; it is about becoming sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
The Scriptures declare, "Surely the Lord GOD does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7). At the same time, Joel's prophecy, fulfilled in the New Testament, reminds us, "I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy" (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17). We are living in a generation where God is awakening prophetic voices across the world. Yet awakening alone is not enough. Every awakening must be accompanied by sound biblical teaching.
If you have registered for the Seers Boot Camp, this is your encouragement not to miss a single session. Come prayerfully prepared. Come with expectation. Come ready to learn, to grow, and to allow the Holy Spirit to sharpen your spiritual perception.
Over these next three days, we will journey together into truths that have transformed countless lives and ministries. Whether you already operate in prophetic ministry or are only beginning to discover God's voice, these teachings will help you understand the grace you carry and how to steward it faithfully.
The prophetic gift may be given by God—but prophetic maturity is cultivated through revelation, discipleship, and obedience.
Your awakening begins now.
We look forward to seeing you at the Seers Boot Camp.
